Welcome to our rough guide on how to meet your driver at Terminal Three
Heathrow is the Worlds busiest international airport and T3 is the busiest terminal
United Airlines Virgin Atlantic Air Canada SKS Gulf Air KLM to name but a few airlines all put their flights into terminal three.
North American flights mainly arrive between 06:00 and 11:00 Am each day this makes the Terminal a very noisy and very crowded place to be.
You will Come out from Customs and Immigration into the arrivals hall during the Mornings this is a crowded and noisy place.
Your driver will we waiting for you somewhere along the grey barriers shown in the photos he will have a Yellow sign A4 sized with your name on it and www.airporttransfers.biz written on the bottom.
During the early mornings there could be as many as 100 drivers all waiting to meet people so as you can imagine it can get confusing (see photos below)
We however try to help you out a bit our drivers mainly stand at the end of the barriers under the White sign marked group meeting point (see top photo) as you come to the end of the barriers that's where the group meeting point is.
If you do not see your driver straight away this is where you should head for.
If you still cant see your driver DON'T PANIC!!!! please assign JUST ONE of your party to go to airport information and ask them to page "THE DRIVER MEETING (your name) COME TO THE GROUP MEETING POINT"
Please do not ask them to page the company or anything else the Noise level is very high in T3 (listen to sample) .WAV Sample and the driver will only be listening for a name and nothing else.
If you have not appeared within an hour of your flight landing the driver will normally put out a paging request for you he will ONLY use your surname and No other details.
If you are held up for any reason in the baggage hall or at immigration Please assign on of your party to come out and make contact with the driver we have NO WAY of getting a message to you inside and if the driver doesn't meet you within 90 minutes of your flight landing he will leave the airport
Once you have met your driver he will escort you and your luggage to elevators you only go up one level to the car park collection point the driver will ask you to wait at a specific point (see photo below)
and he will describe the colour and type of his vehicle to you he will then pay for the car parking and collect his vehicle and drive to the point he asked you to wait for him PLEASE DO NOT MOVE from this point as you can easily get lost in a strange airport in a strange city.
It normally takes about 10 mins to collect the vehicle and come and meet you to stop yourself from getting bored we suggest you Just stand there and watch all the people who DIDN't book a car big enough for the amount of luggage they are carrying with them watching them struggle to get their luggage into a standard UK car is highly amusing Just watch them to see what we mean. (see photos below)
