My wife and I used the service for the first time on November 20 when we were collected from Gatwick Airport at 6.20 am following an overnight flight from Ecuador and taken to Heathrow Airport to make a flight connection to Vienna later that morning. thank you for having your driver at the gate waiting for me upon my arrival at Heathrow on Saturday! It was a welcome site to see him holding my name card after spending 12 hours on an airplane.

We used your services with Steve for our Heathrow/London transfers I gave such a glowing report to Editor: Anastasia Watkinson of the: Great Britain Travel guide that she and her husband decided to give you a try on their recent holiday to the states. She highly recommends your company in her latest issue. Here is what was printed: Now onto some feedback about a great service to try when transferring from Heathrow into London. This tip comes from Suzy Marsden in San Jose California. We used Internet Airport Transfer (http://www.airport-transfers-uk.com) for our transfers to and from Heathrow into London. The charge was 40.00 plus 4.00 credit card surcharge for pre-booking. The price was per car not per passenger. It could hold 4 people. All in all unless one is traveling alone I don't feel it is any cheaper to take Heathrow Express. We made all arrangements by internet prior to our trip. Our driver Steve was waiting for us at Heathrow as we exited customs. He was very polite helpful and a welcome sight after arriving on a rainy Sunday night at 10pm! We were driven to our hotel in London where he carried in our bags as there were no porters at the door (Marriott County Hall). And he pointed out the sites as we drove into the city. He also reconfirmed our pickup time for transfer back to Heathrow the following week. And he was there half an hour early on Sunday morning ready as promised. We made the drives in under an hour. Even though Heathrow Express is only 12.00 (or in our case 24.00 for two) that only gets you to Paddington Station. You'd still have to take the Underground to get to your hotel. That would mean schlepping luggage from the airport to the express out of the train into the train station into the Underground trains and hopefully without transfers then up the stairs and along the streets to your hotel if you knew exactly where it was! In our case all this would have been in the dark and rain. This also assumes you have converted some currency into £'s so that you can pay for everything. The Heathrow Express tics can be ordered before traveling. A Visitor Travelcard for the Underground can be ordered too but only a voucher is mailed to you. It has to redeemed at a travel center (the one in Heathrow isn't open on Sunday evenings). It's much easier navigating the Underground for the first time without luggage with a Travelcard and map in hand and when you're not exhausted from a long plane ride. Taking a cab from Paddington to your hotel would be expensive. The transfer company was everything it promised. It was worth the price and we would use them again! Editor's Notes: You seemed so enthusiastic about this service that when I was dreading hauling all of our luggage down to Heathrow from London for our recent holiday we decided to give AIRPORTTRANSFERS.BIZ a try for ourselves! I also would highly recommend it. Our driver was courteous helpful and prompt and the 40.00 we paid each way was well worth avoiding the hassle of hauling our luggage across town ourselves. So you've already helped two people - my husband and me! Thanks Suzy!

I needed to travel from Heathrow to Gatwick airports to change flights this summer and used a company called AIRPORTTRANFERS.BIZ The charge was 60 pounds from Heathrow to Gatwick (for the car not per person). They also run between all London Airports and London (for example from Heathrow to any address in London costs 35 pounds). My reason for mentioning this company is that I have had to do many transfers from London airports and found this service very professional and friendly. I booked via e-mail and quickly received a confirmation with details of where to meet what to do if the flight is delayed and an emergemcy telephone number. I travelled with my family from Oslo to Heathrow where we were met by a driver with a name board. He was very efficient and friendly and had already contacted Gatwick to obtain the latest information on our connecting flight and check-in arrangements. The car was modern clean and large enough for two adults and two children plus luggage it even had a computer showing traffic problems so the driver could plan an alternative route. This service is not expensive yet of the highest quality.

Much to our surprise no driver appeared and so we followed the given advice to check with the Information Counter and they would 'call' for the driver. I think the value is exceptional...it takes a little longer than the train but when you arrive a little "frazzled" and very tired it is nice to have someone there to meet you who just guides you to the vehicle and deposits you at your hotel safely so there is no need to worry about train stations transferring luggage and finding a taxi.
